Mark DeCarlo began his television career by hosting TV's first hit reality show: STUDS. He has spent the last decade hosting a variety of other series, including BIG DEAL, SUNDAY DINNER, and the late night talk show X SHOW where his remodeling segment "DeCarlo's Big Tools" was a fan favorite.
Mark spent the last four years traveling the country shooting "Taste of America with Mark DeCarlo" for the Travel Channel. During his travels he discovered the disconnect between consumers and the emerging Eco market. Politics and misinformation was preventing consumers from learning that for virtually every product you need to build a home, there is a new, better AND LESS EXPENSIVE product than what was used five-ten years ago. Since most people don't build homes every day, the value of these new products wasn't reaching the consumers who were looking for them, thereby causing them to spend more money to buy and operate their homes than necessary.
Mark created EconomicalECO.com to provide an unbiased, unsponsored comprehensive resource for everyone remodeling or building a home. By seeking out and gathering the best of new products, innovations and Eco News in one location, we seeks to make this site a continual resource for eco-minded people everywhere. With the addition of Alegre's technical knowledge and Green expertise, EconomicalECO.com becomes THE reliable source for product information, state and federal rebate and tax credit information, and green news in general. Via our world wide network of consumer and building orientated websites, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE EVERY MONTH watch our content and save MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
When he's not shooting segments for the series in Los Angeles, Mark is in demand around the country at Eco events, conferences and conventions.
